Susan Miller

Susan Miller serves as President of Viasat Government, where she leads all government-related business operations within the Company.

Responsible for the broad leadership of the Government segment, Ms. Miller oversees the development and implementation of Viasat Government’s vision, mission, strategy and overall business execution. She is charged with maintaining and growing Viasat’s leadership position across U.S. and international governments. This is accomplished by delivering cost-effective, innovative solutions to challenging government requirements in satellite networks, tactical data links, antenna systems, resilient space solutions, crypto technology, information assurance and cyber security.

Ms. Miller brings to her position more than 25 years of senior executive leadership experience across a wide range of satellite communications technologies serving the government and commercial sectors. She previously served as the Chief Executive Officer for Inmarsat Government, now part of Viasat.

In addition, Ms. Miller held numerous leadership roles in the satellite and telecommunications industries, including MTN Satellite Communications (now Anuvu), where she served as EVP for strategy and corporate development; Spacenet Integrated Government Solutions Inc, where she was CEO; and Intelsat General Corporation, where she held the position of President and Chairman of the proxy board. Ms. Miller has also worked with well-known organizations such as Ligado, Lockheed Martin, and Hughes Aircraft Corporation.

Ms. Miller holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
