The 2025 challenge

The 2025 Viasat: Space for Good Challenge expanded to the United States, United Kingdom, and India. The program invited university students — and A-Level students in the U.K. — to imagine bold, creative solutions that support the safe and sustainable use of space.

Each of the three phases of the program asked for a concrete deliverable that addressed the theme of using space technology to improve life on Earth. Every round's deliverable became more specific and robust, expanding on the previous round. Finalists were then matched with mentors to help the students with their final presentation.
