Viasat quotes

Mark Dankberg
“Beyond an incredible capacity increase, ViaSat-3 F2’s dynamic beam forming capabilities will greatly benefit our customers by efficiently deploying bandwidth to the highest demand places, allowing us to scale performance and the number and density of users. These capabilities will continue to fuel our successful, multi-orbit service offerings, including service platforms such as Viasat Amara, NexusWave, and a resilient, hybrid SATCOM architecture for government.”

Mark Dankberg

Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder

Ben Palmer
“What's exciting is the intelligent way in which we will be able to harness capacity in a precise and data-driven way to meet the changing and dynamic needs of our customers around the globe. Demand for capacity isn't uniform. A key differentiator is our ability to target and vector that capacity to meet the needs of customers when they need it, whether that's domestic customers, aviation customers, those at sea, or those in the energy market.”

President, Viasat Commercial Services

Viasat employee head shots - Craig Miller
“Modern government missions and military operations demand reliable, secure and agile communications capabilities. ViaSat-3 is designed to help support those needs, combining ultra-high-capacity with the flexibility to allocate and dynamically deliver bandwidth where and when it’s needed to support changing mission requirements, even in the most challenging and contested hot spots. The launch of ViaSat-3 F2 is another key milestone for the company and our ability to provide resilient Ka-band connectivity as part of our hybrid SATCOM architecture and services for defense customers.”

Craig Miller

President, Viasat Government

“Historically, when engineers designed a satellite, especially a broadband satellite like ViaSat-3 F2, they had to make a choice between coverage, capacity, or flexibility. You couldn't have all those attributes in a single satellite. With the ViaSat-3 constellation we have broken that paradigm and designed it to address all those important attributes. So, we'll serve an enormous coverage area with each satellite, along with the flexibility to move capacity wherever the demand is at any point in time. Coupled with immense capacity, the ViaSat-3 satellites can adapt to business needs, in real-time, unlike any other.”

David Abrahamian

Vice President, Space Systems

“There is immense potential for commercial airlines to benefit from high-speed and reliable connectivity. This value goes beyond just providing in-flight Wi-Fi; it allows our airline customers to determine how to utilize it, stand out with their offerings, and gain a competitive edge. The addition of ViaSat-3 F2 to our already strong network takes this potential to a whole new level.”
