ViaSat-3 satellite in space over earth

ViaSat-3

Adding tremendous capacity to our multi-orbit network.
High capacity. Highly flexible.

The ViaSat-3 constellation is an important part of our global, multi-orbit network, adding unprecedented capacity that is secure, reliable, and highly flexible.

Comprised of three Ka-band satellites, each ViaSat-3 satellite is capable of steering capacity between beams to deliver bandwidth when and where it’s needed most — which is important to meet the needs of aviation, maritime, government, and home internet, where the location of high-demand hotspots can change over the course of the day.

Part of our global fleet, ViaSat-3 flight 2 is expected to add 1 Tbps capacity to our network over the Americas, while flight 3 is expected to bring the same throughput to the Asia-Pacific region.
