Typical usage represents the data usage of 70% of Viasat Unleashed and Viasat Unleashed Max customers on our network. After you use 150 GB of High-Speed Data, you will continue to receive unlimited data (referred to as "Standard Data"); however, Viasat may prioritize Standard Data behind other customers during network congestion, which will result in slower speeds.

- The Essentials plan start at $39.99/mo. for the first 12 months, $69.99/mo. thereafter.
- The Unleashed plan starts at $69.99/mo. for the first 12 months, $99.99/mo. thereafter.
- The Unleashed Max plan starts at $109.99/mo. for the first 12 months, $99.99/mo. thereafter.
A $15/mo. equipment lease fee applies to every plan, which is separate from the monthly service plan price shown above.
Our goal is to ensure fast, reliable speeds for all our customers and our network management team is always working on ways to minimize the impact of network congestion.
We describe expected speeds for our internet plans in terms of Baseline Speeds and Burst Speeds.
Burst Speed is the maximum temporary spike in network speed beyond the Baseline Speed that is achievable under ideal conditions.
Baseline Speed is twhat most customers should expect to experience most of the time. Our Baseline Speed goal is 80 Mbps. Speeds are 'up to,' not guaranteed and will vary.

- The Viasat Unleashed Max plan fits fully connected homes that want high network priority. It offers unlimited High-Speed Data with network priority compared to other customers on the network.

The new ViaSat-3 satellite should improve the experience for current customers and new customers, so no need to change to a different satellite or plan. However, if you are a current customer and would like to switch to the Unleashed Max plan, you can do that in the My Viasat customer portal.
No contract means there is no minimum service term commitment.
