Service protection plans have been around for quite some time. But consumers often ask themselves if it’s worth it or not. Unfortunately, the answer is never as easy as yes or no. It depends on the value the service protection plan offers to each consumer and how extensive the coverage is.
Most service protection plans can offer peace of mind to consumers in the event they need a service call to check equipment or prefer to have priority customer support when needed. In any case, determining the value of the service protection plan offered is key to making the right decision for you and your family.
With Viasat Internet plans, we offer EasyCare, an option that offers just that...peace of mind. EasyCare is an extra level of service protection, assistance and support offered to our customers for a low monthly cost of $9.99. EasyCare includes no charge for required service calls, priority customer support, and one annual dish relocation for $95 (normally $200).

Empowering the next generation: Sunderland Space Camp at the National Space Academy
Viasat employee, Advisor Asha Parmar shares her journey in the space industry and her passion for inspiring young minds in STEM through Viasat’s Space Camps and STEM outreach programs. In October, Viasat partnered with Lockheed Martin to hold two Space Camps in Sunderland, for children in Years 6 and 12 respectively, with educational support from the National Space Academy.
The week was packed full of exciting workshops with dozens of students, speakers from various areas of the industry, and experiments. One of the guiding principles of our Space Camps with Lockheed Martin is to inspire young people to explore the possibilities of studying STEM subjects and to show them there are many paths to success across a wide range of roles.
