The future of in-flight connectivity is here with the launch of Exede® Internet service from ViaSat. The Exede service changes the way passengers experience in-flight Internet with the fastest connection speeds. It is the first to use high-speed Ka-band satellites and is capable of delivering more than 12 Mbps to the passenger. The service is designed to eclipse the quality and speeds of other in-cabin airline broadband services while offering the best value to the airlines.

ViaSat, along with our partner LiveTV, are launching the service on JetBlue in 2013. We will provide in-flight Internet to nearly 400 aircraft on JetBlue and other U.S. carriers by the end of 2015.

The Exede service for commercial airlines is capable of delivering more than 12 Mbps to the connected passenger, no matter how many passengers are using it, giving the best in-flight experience available. Competing in-flight services are based simply on an aggregate amount of bandwidth to the plane that leaves passengers contending for service, but Exede offers a per-user service level agreement, guaranteeing our commitment to the airlines.
