Basic Troubleshooting for Slow Speeds or Connectivity Issues
  1. Inspect the integrity and location of the Indoor Unit

    • Ensure the Indoor Unit is in a suitable location for optimum signal. Ideally, the Indoor Unit should be on the top floor, near a window and powered on.

  2. Check that all 4 LED lights are solid

    • If all LED lights are solid, move on to Network Troubleshooting.

    • If the top LED lights are blinking -this means the Indoor Unit is searching for the best tower to connect to.

      • Try moving the Indoor Unit to the other side of the home, near a window and reboot to try and reach a different tower. Note: This step may need to be repeated and tried in different areas of the home until solid LED lights are achieved.

    • If you are still unable to achieve solid LED lights contact our customer support line at 1-855-463-9333, Monday-Friday between 10 AM and 7 PM Eastern Time.

Network Troubleshooting

  1. Confirm your device is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and you are using the correct password.

    • The default Wi-Fi SSID and Password for both the 2.4G and 5G networks can be found on the sticker at the bottom of the Indoor Unit.

      • Both network names start with an ‘EG’ if you did not change the default network name.

      • Note: If the Wi-Fi Password listed on the label displays "PASSWORD" as the default, use the last 8 characters of the SN number as the Wi-Fi Password instead.

    • Helpful Tip: For better performance connect devices to the 5G network that are closer to the Indoor Unit, for devices that are farther away connect to the 2.4G network.

    • If you forgot your Wi-Fi Password and need to change or reset to default credentialS, please read the section on changing your Wi-Fi network name and password.

  2. Test your device within a few feet of the Indoor Unit

    • If you see improvement you might be experiencing Wi-Fi interference, try repositioning the Indoor Unit to a better location.

    • If you do not see improvement contact our customer support line at 1-855-463-9333, Monday-Friday between 10 AM and 7 PM Eastern Time.

Check your Wi-Fi network. Your unit comes with two networks, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. It is best to connect to the 5 GHz network while closer to the Indoor Unit and the 2.4 GHz network further away.

Your unit might be having an issue connecting to a cell tower. Unplug your device, move it to a different side of your home and plug it back in. Allow the device a few minutes to find the nearest cell tower. If you are still seeing blinking LED lights, repeat this process on another side of your home.

Follow these steps if you forgot your Wi-Fi password or cannot login to the Indoor Unit settings to change the password

  1. Use a pin to press and hold down the reset button on the back of the unit for 10 seconds
  2. The unit will factory reset, this will take a few minutes but the LED lights on the front of unit will blink off and on

Once all 4 LED lights are solid, open your Wi-Fi settings on your device and connect to one of the Wi-Fi Networks that start with 'EG'. Your default Wi-Fi Password is located on a sticker on the bottom of the Indoor Unit. Note: If the Wi-Fi Password listed on the label displays "PASSWORD" as the default, use the last 8 characters of the SN number as the Wi-Fi Password instead.
