From the skies above us to the oceans around us, and everywhere in between, our connectivity is enabling people, businesses, and communities to achieve extraordinary things.
But technology is only part of the story.
Around the World with Viasat is a global film series, partnering with local creators to uncover the people, ideas, and moments that show what's possible when the world stays connected.
Real stories, real impact
Life at sea no longer means away from home.
For seafarers spending weeks or months away from home, staying connected with loved ones is more important than ever.
Two seafarers from different generations share their firsthand experiences of life at sea, and how reliable connectivity from Inmarsat Maritime is transforming life onboard and strengthening ties with home.
It allows me to not just choose between my career at sea and my social life – because you can have both when you have connectivity.
