No Internet Connection
- Ensure the VWG3 is connected to the Network Power Adapter via Ethernet and the Network Power Adapter has the Satellite COAX cable plugged into it
- Confirm the Network Power Adapter and VWG3 are both plugged into power
- Ensure the Network Power Adapter switch is in the On position
- Reboot the equipment (See reboot steps below)
- Wait 5–10 minutes for reconnection
Reboot Steps:
- Power cycle the equipment
- Unplug modem and router (if separate devices) from the electrical outlet and shut down your device. On the VWG3, flip the switch on the Network Power Adapter and unplug the VWG3
- Then restore the power to your equipment in the following order:
- Network Power Adapter - Wait until Network Power Adapter locks before powering up anything else
- VWG3- Wait until router is fully 'locked' before doing anything else
Wi-Fi Not Appearing
- Confirm the gateway is powered on
- Move closer to the gateway
- Restart the gateway
Slow Speeds
- Check how many devices are connected
- Move closer to the gateway for a stronger signal
- Try using an Ethernet connection for better performance
- For VWG3 press and hold the Reset button on the back of the VWG3 until the LEDs on the VWG alternate flashing between white and red (Approx 20 seconds). Allow the VWG3 to reboot when it comes back online; the Status LED may be solid white, or the Status, Internet/Wan, Wi-Fi LEDs will blink white. In either case the default network should appear and the customer will need to recomplete the VWG3 Wi-Fi set up
- You will need to reconfigure your Wi-Fi again. See FAQ: Setting up Network for the first time or after Factory Reset
