Viasat Stream is starting with Disney+ and uses your current Disney+ subscription, our patented technology, and a hub that easily connects to your Viasat modem so you can watch all the Disney+ shows and movies you want without it affecting your data usage.

Viasat Stream FAQs

Yes. Viasat Stream works with your existing Disney+ account.

If you are already signed up for Disney+, Viasat Stream enables you to watch all Disney+ titles data-free. Viasat Stream does not replace your current Disney+ subscription, payment, or login information.


Viasat Stream customers need to keep their Disney+ subscription active to continue using Viasat Stream.

Viasat Stream works with participating streaming providers, starting with Disney+, and requires an account with that provider.

Access the participating streaming provider’s app on your device of choice.  Make sure that the device is connected to your Viasat Wi-Fi, your Viasat Stream hub is plugged in, and you are good to go!

Note: Viasat Stream will not work if your VPN is on or if you are using a Wi-Fi extender. 

To watch content with Viasat Stream, simply open the app Disney+, connect to your Viasat Wi-Fi, and ensure the Viasat Stream hub is plugged in. Enjoy your favorite shows and movies without worrying about data usage!

 

Note: Viasat Stream won’t work if you’re using a VPN or a Wi-Fi extender.

Once you begin using Viasat Stream, you can sign in to your My Viasat account and access the Viasat Stream panel on the home page. The panel will show how much data is being saved by using Stream.

Viasat Stream is complimentary with select Viasat Internet plans in certain areas. It works seamlessly with your existing Disney+ subscription, and you’ll need to keep it active to enjoy Viasat Stream. If your Disney+ subscription lapses, Viasat Stream will pause until it’s renewed.

If you decide Viasat Stream is not for you, visit My Viasat to cancel.  You can also call 855-463-9333, and our agents will assist you with removing Viasat Stream from your account. You do not need to return the Viasat Stream Hub.

First, unplug the hub from your modem, wait one minute, and plug it back in. 

Next, check your hub status at My Viasat or in the emails and texts Viasat sends when the hub is experiencing an issue.

If the hub is experiencing an issue, you will be contacted either via email, SMS or push notification.
You will be notified about the issue and provided with potential options to fix the problem.
