Viasat Equipment Return Guide
Leased Equipment Recovery Kits are sent to collect equipment in the event of an upgrade, move, or disconnect. If you have been advised to return your equipment to Viasat, review the information below to ensure the proper equipment is returned and avoid unnecessary charges.

Return the Viasat modem and power cord from inside your house, and the TRIA (Transmit and Receive Integrated Assembly) of the dish assembly outside.

Do not return the dish or the mounting brackets.
- Note: See illustrations below for packing instructions if you receive an equipment recovery kit from UPS.
- IMPORTANT: Do not ship equipment to Viasat without a Leased Equipment Recovery Kit. Returned equipment cannot be accepted without a Viasat-provided equipment box and shipping label.
Once your account is disconnected, you have 30 calendar days to return your leased equipment to Viasat.
- Yes, but only if we do not receive your equipment within 30 calendar days.

- Depending on the source of the damage, there could be a charge. Equipment that was damaged due to a natural disaster (e.g., tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, etc.) will not be charged.

If the Leased Equipment Recovery Kit from UPS for discontinued service is missing or delayed, please check the UPS website before contacting Viasat.

Use your Viasat account number to check UPS.com to follow the UPS Tracking for your Leased Equipment Recovery Kit and equipment return status.

If you are to receive a Leased Equipment Recovery Kit from UPS, please allow up to seven business days for the recovery kit to arrive.

If it has been more than seven days, you may have to request another recovery kit be sent to you.
