Mission-ready Ka-band terminals with network flexibility

Viasat Ka-band terminals are comprised of a small Ka-band antenna, our next-generation modem, and an antenna control unit integrated into the existing aircraft’s network. They are designed for flexible operation across both military, commercial, and Viasat’s constellation of high-capacity Ka-band satellites.

GAT-5510 terminal

The GAT-5510 is a part of Viasat’s family of next-generation, full-ITU Ka-band terminals, enabling broadband, in-flight connectivity services for airborne operations around the globe. The GAT-5510 terminal features the following details:
