“‘ASTORS’ nominations are evaluated on their technical innovation, interoperability, specific impact within the category, overall impact to the industry, relatability to other industry technologies and application feasibility outside of the industry,” according to Tammy Waitt, co-founder and editorial director of American Security Today. “Viasat was selected by American Security Today based on its extensive cybersecurity experience and industry leading methods that allow the Company to secure some of the nation’s most sensitive networks.”
“As cyber-threats continue to advance, it is critical our nation’s most sensitive networks remain secure across the battlespace, whether on land, in the air or at sea,” said Ken Peterman, president, Government Systems, Viasat. “We are honored to be recognized for our cybersecurity achievements in American Security Today magazine’s distinguished 2018 ‘ASTORS’ Awards program.
