SpectraSite Communications LLC Completes First Wireless Internet Service Deployment With NetNearU Wi-Fi Operations Support
COLLEGE STATION, Texas — SpectraSite Communications LLC (SpectraSite), a subsidiary of American Tower Corporation, has completed its first wireless Internet service deployment using NetNearU (NNU) Wi-Fi Operations Support System in a shopping center owned by CBL & Associates Properties Inc. American Tower selected NNU to provide Wi-Fi for its customers in October 2012. WiFi was deployed at CBL & Associates Properties’ Triangle Town Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is the first of four deployments scheduled to take place in the next three months. Other Wi-Fi deployments for American Tower Corporation in CBL & Associates Properties include Brookfield Square in Brookfield, Wisconsin; Hamilton Place in Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Sunrise Mall in Brownsville, Texas.

NNU will provide free sponsored Internet access to CBL & Associates mall patrons, as well as paid access for CBL & Associates mall tenants. American Tower will utilize NNU’s 24/7 branded end-user support call center services. American Tower will use the extensive features of NNU TRACKOSTM end-user authentication, billing, roaming settlement, and network monitoring for CBL & Associates. Additionally, American Tower will use TRACKOS wireless revenue, wireless sessions (MTD), wireless sessions summaries, error logs, and other reports.
