The rankings are based on annual revenue from VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) sales in India, with ViaSat's total at US$ 28 million ($123 Rs Crore). HCL Comnet, Airports Authority of India, Bharat Electronics Limited for the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), and Tata Net all placed significant new satellite communication system orders with ViaSat.
Carlsbad, CA - ViaSat Inc. will supply its LinkStar DVB-RCS compatible satellite networking system to Unete Telecomunicaciones to expand the availability of enterprise broadband networking in Bolivia and the surrounding region. Deliveries of the hub and first order of network terminals were scheduled for May.
The new Unete network is aimed at the enterprise market for broadband IP connections and Internet access. The hub is installed at the company�s La Paz headquarters with coverage including Venezuela, Peru, and Paraguay.

Installations cover 100 sites for the Distance Learning Satellite Network. Vitacom Systems is the prime contractor and integrator for the network, one of several efforts by the Puerto Rican Department of Education to bring high-tech educational tools and skills to remote areas in Puerto Rico. Installation is complete and the network began operation in March.
Carlsbad, CA - ViaSat has finalized a contract to supply its SurfBeam� broadband satellite networking system to Smart Digital Communications Bhd in Malaysia. Smart will use the system, the first of its kind in Asia, to provide enhanced satellite managed services and networking operations for a new service called Triple Play that will bring video, voice and high-speed Internet to homes and small businesses in Malaysia. Under this contract, ViaSat will supply a hub and 5,000 Ku-band satellite terminals for the project.

The military has undertaken a multi-year, multi-billion dollar plan to build a single, integrated network based on the Internet Protocol (IP), but ViaSat products have already placed similar capabilities in commander�s hands in a matter of months.
ViaSat Inc. is supplying a LinkStar broadband satellite communications network to Smart Digital Communications Bhd in Malaysia to provide high-speed Internet Access to more than 1,500 schools. The LinkStar VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) network is the first broadband satellite network of its kind in Malaysia, and once the remote terminal installation is complete - planned by the end of August - the network is expected to become the largest VSAT network in the country. Havertys, a ViaSat Managed Broadband Services customer since 2001, is rolling out the satellite communication network services to 114 retail stores, six distribution/delivery centers and its headquarters, to provide a variety of business continuity, email, and content delivery services. Installation for the additional sites is scheduled for June.

(Nasdaq: VSAT) has received a $4.65 million contract to supply its LINKWAY� multi-protocol broadband VSATs, Skylinx� digital telephony VSATs, and antenna systems for communications and video backhaul at the All African Games this October in Nigeria. The contract was awarded by Ace Computer Systems Ltd, Kaduna, Nigeria through its French associates, Garmco Sarl on behalf of The Organizing Committee of the 8th All Africa Games, COJA. The satellite network will provide digital communications among four cities and a hub in the Nigerian capital of Abuja.

Using the terminals, military camera crews will be able to quickly and securely transmit video and still imagery from forward military areas to headquarters and command locations in the field, as well as back to the U.S. ViaSat will also provide system engineering, integration, installation services, and training in the U.S. and abroad.
