Viasat believes that fast, reliable connectivity should follow wherever you go. That’s why we took a system designed to deliver tomorrow’s internet and brought it to the skies. We’ll showcase what it takes to deliver the fastest, most reliable in-flight connectivity to everyone on a plane – “Life. Uninterrupted.” – during the 2018 Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) set for April 10-12 in Hamburg, Germany.

The annual event that began in 2000 focuses on innovations in aircraft interiors, including in-flight entertainment, connectivity, passenger experience and services. More than 18,000 people are expected to explore the latest products and services from 550-plus companies participating in this year’s expo.

In addition to a booth, Viasat company leaders will be on hand to share their knowledge during panel discussions focusing on the passenger experience, technology solutions and the future of in-flight entertainment.

Visitors to our booth #3A10 can meet with our commercial aviation experts to better understand how the Viasat system works and why it’s better. Take a survey and you will be included in a drawing to win an Apple Watch.

The timing for this event comes on the heels of residential service launch from our all-new ViaSat-2 satellite, which nearly doubles our available bandwidth. The new satellite broadens Viasat’s reach to include air traffic routes across the Atlantic to Europe. Service for commercial airliners is expected to begin later this year.

Viasat provides internet service to major airlines including JetBlue, American and United Airlines as well as U.S. government VIP aircraft.
