A

Additional Acknowledge Delay Adjustable delay setting to allow additional time before a transmitting ADC assumes the receiving ADC did not acknowledge. Best used on channels with slow crypto devices or radios.
Acknowledge - ACK Sent by a receiving ADC to the transmitter, after receipt of a probe or burst transmission.
ANDVT Advanced Narrowband Digital Voice Terminal
ARQ Automatic Resend Request

P-Q

Probe Tranmission used by ADC's in CSMA mode. Sent by the transmitter to capture the channel, channel is considered captured when the receiving ADC sends a probe ACK.
PROM Programmable Read Only Memory

R

RTS Request to Send
Routing Information Protocol - RIP Used by the ADC/IP to broadcast connected networks, and receive information from other routers of available networks connections.
Route Table Used in the ADC/IP to maintain list of connected networks, and the path to reach connected networks.

T-U

TBD To Be Determined
Turnaround Delay Allows an adjustable delay after an ADC receives a probe, burst, or ACK and before it sends it's probe, burst, or ACK. Best used on radios having a slow transmit/receive turnaround time.
