Network offers efficient communication for low-rate or broadband services
Duluth, GA - ViaSat is supplying a LinkStar� broadband network to CELCOM, through network integrator Digisky Sdn Berhad, for shared-hub satellite network services in Malaysia. CELCOM, a subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia, has also chosen to include ViaSat hub software that makes the network compatible with the Digital Video Broadcast Return Channel Satellite (DVB-RCS) international standard for interoperability.
Carlsbad, CA � ViaSat Inc. will supply Multi-functional Information Distribution System (MIDS) terminals, trusted filter security products, and systems engineering to Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) as a result of recent awards to Northrop Grumman�s Mission Systems sector for the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) and Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) Support System (JSS) programs of the U.S. Air Force Electronic Systems Center. Total value of ViaSat content for both programs is approximately $3 million, excluding follow-on options for production and support.

The campus includes two buildings totaling 143,000 square feet that accommodate engineering, manufacturing, test and operations, along with other management and administrative personnel, plus an outdoor antenna integration and test area.
DOCSIS�-based network enables Internet and broadband communications to schools

(ECC), a producer of broadband communication integrated circuits and satellite communication systems. With this purchase ViaSat will increase its depth in the new S2 version of the DVB-RCS satellite broadband standard and will become the supplier of modem chips for the Asian IPSTAR spot-beam satellite system.

(Nasdaq:VSAT) has won a $19.8 million award from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (NYSE: LMT) to supply a Communication Navigation and Identification Function Stimulator (CFS) for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). The contract period of performance is 30 months.
