As part of the Boeing team, ViaSat will develop the Programmable INFOSEC Module (PIM) software for the terminal, as well as providing system and security engineering services to Boeing. This award increases a previous award from Boeing for the PIM due to modifications to the security requirements, waveform specifications, and the embedded cryptographic module.

Using the Eutelsat SESAT-2 satellite, the services will cover the Middle East, Europe and North Africa.

The network is scheduled to be completed and commissioned by the end of February.

Duluth, GA - ViaSat is supplying a LinkStar� broadband network to CELCOM, through network integrator Digisky Sdn Berhad, for shared-hub satellite network services in Malaysia. CELCOM, a subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia, has also chosen to include ViaSat hub software that makes the network compatible with the Digital Video Broadcast Return Channel Satellite (DVB-RCS) international standard for interoperability.

(Nasdaq:VSAT) has won a $19.8 million award from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (NYSE: LMT) to supply a Communication Navigation and Identification Function Stimulator (CFS) for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). The contract period of performance is 30 months. Lockheed Martin will add the new ViaSat system to its Mission System Integration Lab in Fort Worth, Texas where avionics system integration is proceeding in preparation for the first flight of the F-35.
