Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL) and ViaSat today announced that the consumer broadband satellite service they are partnering to offer in Europe will be rolling out next month in Germany, with other selected European markets to follow before the end of the year. The service will be similar to the WildBlue service and use our SurfBeam® satellite DOCSIS system.
WildBlue Communications, Inc. received the 2007 International Satellite Communications exchange (ISCe) Innovation and Technology Award.

Ottawa, Canada, - Telesat, one of the world's leading satellite operators, has signed a multi-year agreement to purchase DOCSIS®-for-satellite Ka-band consumer terminals (CTs) from ViaSat Inc. (NASDAQ: VSAT). Telesat chose ViaSat in March 2004 as the supplier of gateways and terminals for Telesat broadband consumer Ka-band services in Canada on the Anik F2 satellite.

Intelsat and Orbit Data Systems Limited (ODSL) announce plans for a two-way, satellite-based broadband Internet access service to be available directly to consumers and small office/home office users in the Middle East. ViaSat previously announced the award of the DOCSIS for satellite system last June, but was unable to name the end customer.
