Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL) and ViaSat today announced that the consumer broadband satellite service they are partnering to offer in Europe will be rolling out next month in Germany, with other selected European markets to follow before the end of the year. The service will be similar to the WildBlue service and use our SurfBeam® satellite DOCSIS system.

Market for Two-way Broadband via Satellite Expected to Average 8% Annual Growth

ViaSat previously announced the award of the DOCSIS for satellite system last June, but was unable to name the end customer.
