Centrally manage, monitor, and configure ViaSat HAIPE Inline Network Encryptors (INEs)
ViaSat VINE Manager™ software enables seamless management of HAIPE® encryption devices. An intuitive tabular interface provides quick configuration and organization options to centrally manage up to 1,500 AltaSec® Inline Network Encryptors (INE), including the KG-250 A / M / T, KG-255, AN/PSC-14, and IPS-250. With the VINE Manager application you can configure these INEs remotely and utilize wizard features to minimize management time.
VINE Manager software not only provides a spreadsheet-like view with color-coded identity and connectivity status information, but also has grouping options for all INEs within a single dashboard. If trying to locate a specific INE, you can also use the filters for quick search and display capabilities. Regardless if you’re using legacy or current AltaSec INEs, the application automatically streamlines the interface to provide the same comprehensive layout. With the SA and Key Wizard features, you can easily create Security Associations and Remote Routes, as well as assign keys to common Pre-Placed Key (PPK) sequences across INE devices. VINE Manager software also allows you to edit the IP Interfaces, Traffic Flow Security (TFS), Real Time Clock (RTC), and other configuration data across multiple managed INEs.
You can configure VINE Manager software to download and reset audit logs at defined intervals or at 80% full. Review INE management history through the event logs, which track changes to AltaSec INE parameters, management status, alert status, INE resets, and audit log saves and deletes.
The VINE Manager application can be located behind any HAIPE® device, making it possible to manage AltaSec encryptors in a mixed-manufacturer HAIPE® network without dedicating an AltaSec INE to management.
VINE Manager is free to users of ViaSat AltaSec INEs, providing both Network Managers and Crypto Officers with AltaSec INE monitoring and management capabilities. By using VINE Manager you can reduce AltaSec network management costs and better leverage your HAIPE® network infrastructure investment.
