Designed and manufactured in the UK, Viasat has over ten years of experience providing CAPS (NCSC) evaluated solid state drive (SSD) and hard disk drive (HDD) solutions to governments and militaries for multiple domain-based platforms and applications. The Viasat DAR product families contain UK CAPS (NCSC) evaluated products that encrypt data up to TOP SECRET, making Viasat an industry leader in encryption capabilities. Outside of the UK, the story is the same. Certain Viasat DAR products are certified to TOP SECRET by CSE Canada and by NATO SECAN for SECRET and below. We’re proud of our track record of being a trusted partner in protecting national security-relevant data.

The Viasat DARC-ssd® range is a highly secure DAR storage solution for protecting information in laptops, tablet computers, and small form factor PCs (SFF PC) in the private sector and tactical environments. The military-level 256-bit AES hardware encryption and tamper-evident design offer enhanced security with two-factor authentication. In the event of computer theft, loss, or attack, the SSD helps ensure that data is protected and secure.

The Eclypt® Core encrypted internal hard drive protects data at rest in COTS laptop and desktop computers and is certified for the United Kingdom (U.K.), the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and more. During high-risk operations, this self-encrypting hard drive protects your valuable data on both manned and unmanned mobile platforms with accredited hardware-based security. In the event of computer theft, loss, or attack, the hard drive helps ensure that your data is completely protected and secure.

 

  • Provides accredited protection: U.K. Top Secret and below, Canada Top Secret and below, NATO Secret and below, and Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 (historic)
  • 2.5" x 7mm SSD
  • 3.5" x 25.4mm HDD and SSD
  • Works independently of any operating system, application, service pack or software patch
  • Uses remote authentication to encrypt data in remote or hard-to-access locations
  • Offers a unique tamper-proof and tamper-evident construction
