1U Enclosure for Two AltaSec® KG-250s 
The Dual 1U Rugged Rack Mount from ViaSat houses two AltaSec KG-250 IP encryptors in a 1U (1.75 inch) enclosure for standard 19-inch equipment rack installation.  The enclosure features smooth-sliding mounting rails that can lock at full extension for front access to the entire unit, to enable easy loading, unloading and access to the KG-250 units inside. Slide rail extensions adapt for use in racks 18-24 inches deep.  This enclosure is specifically design to house KG-250 encryptors and/or Compact xPEP TCP/IP accelerators side-by-side, and can withstand the same environmental conditions as the KG-250.

The enclosure incorporates RED and BLACK LAN double-shielded RJ-45 connectors on the rear panel for 100 based-T Ethernet. Ground studs on both inside and outside of rear panel facilitate grounding.

The Dual 1U Rugged Rack Mount accepts installation of the standard AC adapter (power brick) that is supplied with either the KG-250 or the Compact xPEP.  The enclosure's rear-panel power filter/circuit breaker accepts the power cord from either the KG-250 or Compact xPEP AC adapter.  A cord retainer clip is provided. Cord wraps are included to facilitate installation of the standard power supply in the enclosure. Each power supply has its own front-panel on/off switch with power status indicator and guard to prevent accidental activation.

•    Holds only one KG-250 (or Compact xPEP) and its power supply

Dual 1U Office Rack Mount
•    Houses two KG-250s (and/or Compact xPEPs) and their power supplies
•    Ethernet cables connect directly to the enclosed device (enclosure does not have rear RJ-45 connectors)

Single 1U Office Rack Mount
•    Houses one KG-250 (or Compact xPEP) and its power supply
•    Ethernet cables connect directly to the enclosed device (enclosure does not have rear RJ-45 connectors)
•    A filler panel closes the empty bay
