MIDS Training

ViaSat offers a comprehensive set of training courses and technical support by telephone.

We offer a variety of training programs to meet your applications of Link 16, MIDS-LVT(1) and MIDS-LVT(2) terminals, and related software and equipment. These training courses are fully customizable to meet your needs or you can choose from our standard courses. Training is available to individual students or groups, at your location or our Carlsbad, California facility.

We also offer instructional classes for the Link 16 Environment Gateway Stimulator (LEGS) software suite that supports the operation, testing, troubleshooting, and demonstration of a variety of MIDS and JTIDS Link 16 terminals. The software provides the man-machine interface (MMI) between a user and the Link 16 terminal by connecting through the X.25, 1553, and/or Ethernet interfaces.MIDS training class at ViaSat training facility includes instruction and hands on experience.
