For over 10 years, we have provided complete custom system designs from specification to product, ASICs, or hybrid products.
Our design and manufacturing track record includes modems for commercial and military systems, including IPSTAR, WINDS, and TSAT. These custom modems span 4 Mbps to 1500 Mbps user data rates and operate in C-, Ku-, and Ka-bands.
- Complex (turbo/LDPC-based codes, higher order modulation, and high-speed) digital modems with implementation loss from theory around 0.5 dB
- DVB-S2 modem operates within 0.35 dB of theory with a QPSK rate 1/2 code running at 50 Msym/sec
- Development of several distinct modems or modem subsystems exceeding data rates of 300 Mbps using turbo/LDPC-based FEC
