Directions

Germantown is located east of I-270 in western Maryland about 30 miles northwest of Washington DC and about 40 miles west of Baltimore. From Washington DC

1. Cross the Potomac River into Virginia from Constitution Avenue (I-66 West/US-50 West).
2. Stay to the right and immediately take George Washington Parkway North (GW Parkway).
3. After ~9 miles, exit right to I-495 North (toward Maryland on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway).
4. After ~4 miles on I-495 North, stay to the left and exit to I-270 North. Stay to the left for the Express lanes of I-270 North.
5. After ~16 miles, take Exit 16 to Father Hurley Blvd. Stay to the right (East) toward Damascus and Ridge Road (27) Turn right almost immediately onto Observation Drive.
6. Take another quick right onto Seneca Meadows Parkway and look to your left for a red brick building with a ViaSat Comsat Laboratories sign (20511)
7. Park near the sign and enter the building across the bridge.

From Baltimore

(From BWI Airport, take I-195 W 4 miles to I-95 South)

1. Take I-95 South to the I-495 W (Capital Beltway) exit, exit number 27-25, towards US-1/College Park/Silver Spring. Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp.
2. Merge onto I-495 (Outer Loop of Capital Beltway).
3. Take the I-270 N exit, exit number 35, towards Fredrick. Stay to the left for the Express lanes of I-270 N.
4. After ~16 miles, take Exit 16 to Father Hurley Blvd. Stay to the right (East) toward Damascus and Ridge Rd (27).
5. Turn right almost immediately onto Observation Drive.
6. Take another quick right onto Seneca Meadows Parkway and look to your left for a red brick building with a ViaSat Comsat Laboratories sign (20511).
7. Park near the sign and enter the building across the bridge.

From Dulles Airport

1. Stay to the left leaving the airport and take Dulles Access Road (VA-267) to I-495 exit (do not exit earlier or you will pay tolls).
2. Move to the right after exiting the Access Road portion of VA-267 and take the I-495 Baltimore/Richmond exit.
3. Stay to left on exit ramp and take I-495 North (toward Baltimore on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway).
4. After ~7 miles on I-495, stay to the left and exit to I-270 North.
5. Stay to the left for the Express lanes of I-270 North.
6. After ~16 miles, take Exit 16 to Father Hurley Blvd.
7. Stay to the right (East) toward Damascus and Ridge Rd (27).
8. Turn right almost immediately onto Observation Drive.
9. Take another quick right onto Seneca Meadows Parkway and look to your left for a red brick building with a ViaSat Comsat Laboratories sign (20511).
10. Park near the sign and enter the building across the bridge.
